Steve Jakovlevs

As Contracts Manager Steve oversees all of the company’s crushing/screening operations . Steve joined Recycled Roadways in January 2020 as a Site Manager and has since excelled in managing on-site processing of rock, asphalt and concrete wastes and worked his way up through the ranks to become Contracts Manager in 2025.

He gained initial experience at the Bardon Hill contract where he handled and processed 900,000 tonnes of rock into aggregate including supervising the loading of trains for export for Aggregate Industries (now Holcim). Steve also oversaw the handling, crushing and screening of imported rock during our 4-year contract for Tarmac at the Port of Tilbury.
