Materials Processing

We apply the very latest techniques and technologies to process recyclable materials to provide graded aggregate feedstock for construction and civil engineering purposes. We have a local authority permit (issued by Medway Council) to perform on-site crushing of concrete and hardcore wastes to produce graded material including:

  • Feedstock for Cement-Bound Granular Material (CBGM) used as a structural layer in the design of high-performance pavements or roads
  • Type-1 well-graded material for sub-base in road or car park construction
  • 6F5/6F2 – capping layers for road construction and piling mats
  • Class 1A (general fill)

Specialist plant, equipment and labour can be provided to segregate and process material. Our fleet includes jaw, cone and impact crushers, multi-deck and scalping screening plants, excavators (20 – 80 tonnes) and loading shovels with plant movements undertaken using our own low loaders.

We operate electric, diesel-electric or hybrid machinery to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions. We can implement WRAP quality protocols to prepare certificated recycled aggregate and asphalt products.

Recycled Asphalt Products (RAP)

Asphalt wastes generated from planing road, car park and pavement surfaces can also be recycled with planings crushed and screened to produce Recycled Asphalt Products (RAP) – feedstock for new asphalt products.

Track ballast can also be washed crushed and processed on-site as Type 1 or single sized aggregates.
